Please. Why such foolishness. Food Stamps and Welfare look at the
household income, and household size. They don't look at whether you
are married or not. And they are supposed to be temporary resources,
until you can do better. I mean, if you have children, and the man
isn't bringing any money into the household because he can't get work,
and the woman doesn't want to leave her children in the hands of
another, this is a temporary resource, until he can find work that can
boost his income so he can support his family. It's not supposed to be
long term.
To think that this money will continue forever to give
you money to go on vacations, and fine restaurants is ludicrous. You
only get a small amount, so why would you want to continue to let the
government dictate what you can eat and what you can do with your
money. Each of us have to learn to tap into our entrepreneurial spirit
that God gave us.
