If you have any Native American blood in you, you'll want to watch this. It's long and very upsetting, but this may have been one of your relatives. I know I have a grandmother that was raised on an Indian reservation. I hate to think she was put through anything like this, but she probably was. In America there are many stories of how the Indians were placed on reservations so the Europeans could take their land and not pay them for it. There are pictures of Indians being taught to assiimilate into American customs and ways. And yes the Catholic church was heavily involved. But how did the number of Indians decrease so quickly. How is it that they have no legacy now. Europeans were very good at putting groups of people into slavery, and justifying it with religion (not God's word), thinking they had the right to control people. God said in Genesis 1 man was to have dominion: 26 God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. All mankind are created in God's image, no man is a creature.
