Suicide.  Is it in the Bible?

A lot of entertainers are committing suicide?  Especially in Los Angeles, Ca.  First of all, I didn't know so many entertainers lived or visited L.A. so frequently.  Second, are they all so weak, that they want to kill themselves, or were they killed.

These people travel the world, why do they come back to Los Angeles to die?

Then there's the Bible question. Is suicide directly punishable as a go straight to Hell card?  My pastor says it does not.  It's not in the Bible.  Alright now, all you suicidal people out there don't run out and do it, knowing this.
